Jessie Lee “GOAT” Stevenson 59, of West Helena, Arkansas, was born on April 23, 1957 to the late Tommy Stevenson, Sr. and the late Ida Mae Williams in Helena, Arkansas. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Paradise MB Church. He moved his membership to Point Pleasant then he later moved his membership to St. Matthew Gumbottom until his death.

Jessie is preceded in death by his parents Tommy Stevenson, Sr. and Ida Mae Williams, his son Tony Maben and Troy Maben, his brother James T. Henry and Lee Andrew “Maine” Williams, and his sister Mae Lacy Norton and Lee Ester Stevenson.
Jessie’s wonderful, funny, and outgoing personality will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him. He was the life of all the family get togethers and we were guaranteed to get a good laugh whenever he was around. He was a member of the singing group the Dixie Wonders where he played the Bass Guitar (he knew he could THUMP that Bass) and where he also sang background. He was employed with Griffin Farms for 50 years. Everyone who knew him all called him “GOAT” and “Unk”. He will be greatly missed for his funny personality.
His precious memories will live on through: his wife Jeannette Stevenson: his sons Antjuan Allen and Quenton Stevenson: his daughter Trena Maben: brothers Bennie (Rilda ) Barnette, Louis Williams, Roy (Alberta) Williams, Tommy ( Barbara) Stevenson, Jr., Johnny (Shirley) Stevenson, Eric Stevenson, and Tommy Stevenson III: his sisters Annie Jefferson, Carolyn Wright, Cynthia Stevenson, Redy, Lavoria, Rosie, Shirley, Mamie, Felicia, and Erica Stevenson: his uncle Robert Stevenson: host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
