Donyea Lamont Hendree was born on November 23rd, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois. He was the first born son for both Ruth and Donald. He was educated in the Chicago public school system and later went on to receive his GED. Donyea had a strong belief in God. He was very kind hearted , thoughtful and cherished his time with family and friends. He loved kids and they brought out the best in him, which was displayed in his special bond with his little cousins Zion, Noah and Jonah Ewing.
He is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, 1 aunt, and 3 uncles.
Donyea developed a love for music early on, largely in part due to his father. He said it kept him calm and gave him peace of mind. As a kid, Donyea was full of energy and as he grew into a man, he developed a cool demeanor. He was always around for a good laugh and an even better story and was there for anyone he could be, displaying kindheartedness for those he loved.
Donyea was truly a blessing to others. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving parents Ruth Spraggins (Howard), Donald Moore (Dian); Children, Corderro Hendree, Domonique Hendree and Christopher Russell; His siblings, Jamal Spraggins, Donald Ingram (Gala), Drakeima Lowed(Robbie), Drena Travis (Keith), Dalisa Riggs(Van), Donna Johnson (Terry) , Tiesha Trice, Howard Brooks (Leslie); Aunts, Janice Purdy, Eugenia Phillips (Thomas); Kathleen Moore, Gloria Moore, Uncles, John Ewing, Ralph Moore(Charmaine), Gary Moore (Denise), One Great Uncle, Clearance Beckley; Close First Cousins; Robert Ewing(Denise), Terrance Purdy(Wanda) , Warren Hendree (Dearria ), Mark Jones, Tamera Phillips and Olivia Ewing; Close friends Bandu Wennie & Latrice Smith , and a host of nieces , nephews , cousins and long time friends!
